As a player who loves to maximize his playing time in each game, I mostly start at the 769 start date. The one thing that has bugged me often was how Bedouins just spread like rabbits throughout the Middle East.
Even with the Abassids broken up, there're a lot of duchies and counties that are still ruled by Bedouins, and within a century, most of Persia becomes Arab. Now of course historically, the Persians were ruled by foreigners for a very long time, but still managed to keep their culture unique and intact. If anything, the conquerors adopted the Persian culture themselves.
In order to stop this madness, I'd say and event should fire for Bedouin/Levantine/Turkish/Mongol characters who's capitol and primary title is within dejure Persia. This event will basically allow the player/AI to flip to Persian, with a prestige boost, and a lowered revolt risk in the areas they rule. This will also flip the culture of their kids.
So what do y'all think? I know the AI can just take the current "adopt local culture" option but they rarely ever do that.
