Can the characters get elected twice as Archon?

It has never happened to me before, but one of my former rulers has the ''become ruler'' ambition, so I'd like to know if/when/how it is possible.

I believe it is possible to be re-elected after ten years.

well, as long as it's very speededtherefore. I find regular speededtherefore to be somewhat lacking in features.

I believe it is possible to be re-elected after ten years.

The re-election time is different for each republic type. Don't remember the numbers off my head but I think, for example, aristo republic archons can be re-elected after 5 years or so.
