I didn't deploy a land unit all game. Just navy and airforce, and lend lease
Was looking bad in mid-1942 when I lost all of Africa but then I saw Germany had red air all along the Eastern Front and had taken 3m casualties to the USSR's 1m and was starting to lose ground.
Strat bombers had damaged almost all their MILs on planes and so the Russians had green air with only 12 MILs on aircraft (+lend lease from me). By 1943 I had about 1000 strats unopposed over Germany and they had lost so many MILs they weren't making any planes or tanks.
Japan were an irrelevance. They could have walked into Malaysia, Borneo etc unopposed but were tied up in China and once I started sinking their convoys to China they lost their entire army there in a few months.
This run also indicates the game calculates casualties incorrectly as I definitely did take casualties, I lost lots of planes and a few ships too. Just no land casualties.
