Beata tester's

I'll do something original; I can't justify the time to be a beta tester, even tho' I live in Sthlm/Sweden, so don't bother contacting me. ;-)

However - I do have a request. Would you make sure that there are at least a few beta testers interested in actually playing the campaigns through this time? I can't believe the excessive mm of EU1 would have been possible had you guys had beta testers who played for more than the first hundered years or so.

I'd be a beta tester, but springing for the airfare from Australia to Sweden would be a bit of a disincentive... as would not speaking a word of Swedish. And seeing I come from Australia, I can't cope with sub-zero temperatures... and I've got bubbly-squat idea about programming.... maybe I qualify as the anti-typical target market.

Beta Tester

I would love to be a beta tester I've been on several closed betas and EU is one of my all time favorites and EU2 is going to be an improvement. The only problem is nobody else will be able to use my compter for a long time.

Why can´t the paradox people tell us if they want beta tester or not, and when they want them, if they do? Then everybody don´t have to write "me! me!" all the time.

I got a private message from Paradox saying they are not looking for beta testers _yet_, and when they are they will post here. So keep looking out ...

Yeah, you'll see my name on most as playtester, but I did help develop a couple, Halls of Montezuma and McArthur's War. I did historical research and scenario development.

I had both of those. What a great game system!

I'm glad someone remembers them fondly. Yes, still the best game system for operation level c20 combat I've seen, and Roger Keating's AI has not been matched today I think. Shame it looks like the bottom has dropped out of the historical wargaming market and the PC market, apart from Road to Moscow there aren't any in development by anyone major. I mean MS dropped the Close Combat series, and they were selling quite well.
