I don't know morpheus, and I don't have any particular interest in defending him. He makes no secret in his AAR of the fact that he'd edited the save file several times -- to give himself leaders, colonial dynamism, and to get himself out of an alliance for example. I frankly don't have the patience to run through the entire thread looking for additional examples.
On the other hand, I doubt that he was trying to white out the "Unknown String" message that you pointed out -- if he was, then he did the worst job of it I can possibly imagine. And on skimming the other screenies, I didn't see other oddities popping out at me.
This whole thread, frankly, is getting a bit silly. What you accomplished, Skarion, in your game, is quite nice -- and you have every right to be proud of it. However, as many folks have said about single player in both EU1 and EU2, you don't have to cheat or possess l33t skillz to do well because the AI is just not that strong. And as you've implied, any kind of AAR or screenie that can be posted here -- even a save file -- is ultimately no proof of one's achievements because everything can be faked. (Not to mention that one man's tactic or tip is another man's exploit...)
Those who wish to have bragging rights regarding their mad skillz should rush to the EU2 multiplayer forum, where they may pit themselves directly against other players.
