I knew you could have multi stage attack plans & I knew you could drag the arrow to move it but I never knew the arrow was multi segmented and that you could achieve such … magnificence.

After you have drawn an offensive line you can press ALT for the edit mode and then drag around the arrow of the front line.
(It's sometimes useful to pull away the startpoint of the arrow, because it's covering interesting terrain at the start of the offense.)
When you have already an offensive line you can click to draw another one and while you draw it, toggle with TAB, if it should start from the front line, or from the already existing offensive line.

Just remember, no battle plan survives contact with the battle planner.
