As Turkey I try and annex the marmeluks right of the bat. Try to take the persians as soon as possible after that. Then I build my forces and place them on the border of the country I want. I then declare war on the country that gives me the lowest Stab. loss. Eventually, the country (notice I say country and not province, I love playing turkey) I want to take will declare war on me along with the rest of the world. I pay off the countries I don't want to fight, fight the ones I want. Then, when I start getting hit with revolts, I settle for all the provinces I can. My empire gets huge, quickly, with very little stability loss. I start a war every 5-10 years. I love BB wars. They make the game much more interesting. I just wish I had more diplomats. Question though... To the purists, is profiteering from the BB wars cheating? I do the same thing with England, although generally much later in the game. Also, are there historic precedents of this? I know EU isn't all about conquering, but it makes the game much more interesting (I couldn't play a banker... snooze).
Please don't tell me to go back to playing Civ II... I can't even look at the game after playing EU.
