BB Points - Newbie help!

Hi,

I'm a newbie and am a little confused by BB points!

A. What exactly are BB points and how do they work?

B. What events cause BB points?

I get the impression they are a negative impact upon your diplomacy standing amongst other nations.

C. How can you tell what the BB consequences of an act will be before, and after you commit such an act?
e.g. (1) How do I know if I will obtain more BB points by invading Holland rather than Naples? (2) How do I know the BB points I will obtain with country of X religion by converting a province to my Y religion? etc ...

BB points are a way to track who is being aggressive and or gaining a bigger empire. This way if one nation gets to big for it's boots the others can take them down a peg.
