BB on a shared annexation?

If I and an ally gang up on someone and I manage to control 80% of their provinces, but not the capital - and my ally occupies the capital and forces annexation - who gets the BB-hit?

I think you get the hit for each province you own, and your ally gets the 5 for annexation... I THINK, im not sure...

BB for each province (extra if NON-CB) and the one that annexes capital gets an additional 5. You were right

1 bb for DoW
1 bb for 1 province
1 bb if not cb
5 bb for annexation

A cheap way of annexing enemies... but what if it is a defensive war?

1 BB for a DoW, and i was also under the impression that BB is different for offensive/defensive wars in EU2.

But you can take a couple of provinces for free without BB if the war was declared on you.

That is true, but there is no BB for just taking provinces... If you happen to control 1 or 8 of them when somebody else controls them, do you still get a BB hit?

1 bb for Dow with CB
4 bb for Dow no CB
1 bb for /province
5 bb for annexation

1 bb for Convertion


BB value Different Religion

1 bb for Dow with CB
4 bb for Dow no CB
1 bb for /province

The BB value for different religion annexations is 1. Though u have to bear in mind that factions of christianity all fall udner christianity, so are considered same religion. Annexing a muslim state as a Christian will give u 1 BB for annexation.

I have been checking BB all morning. (Playing so far, Protestant vs catholic,and catholic vs Muslims)

BB Value Same Religion (Protestant,Catholic)
1 bb for Dow with CB
4 bb for Dow no CB
1 bb for /province
5 bb for annexation

1 bb for Convertion

0 bb for Dow with CB
0 bb for Dow no CB
1 bb for /province
0 bb for annexation


I have annext Marocco,algeriet,Tunis.
when annexing Marocco+2province got bb=2
when annexing Algeriet+3provices got bb=3
When annexing Tunis +1 province got bb=1

It seems to me that you don't get bb when annexing muslims countries,
not the muslims coutries in North Africa so far.
