I havent every played EU2 or EU1 ever, so ha!


and on topic ive never noticed and change in the BB per provice depending on who declared war, so could you confirm this one way or another? i really wanna know

I never played EUII.

I never played CK.

Yes here it is. Pretend you are Russia.

1. You declare war on Prussia and send your ragtag hordes in against the superior Prussian forces. Through much bloodshed though you could care less because you're an ironfisted despot you manage to sieze two provinces. You will accrue 4 BB points.

You are again Russia.

2. You are attacked by Prussia which sends it's small elite force to do battle with your poor illiterate and often drunk soldiers. Your men fight valiantly upon hearing that the Prussians have a stash of Vodka at their supply camp. Your forces overrun the Prussian headquarters and push on into Prussia where when peace is declared you find yourself the proud owner of 2 provinces. You will now gain 2 BB points.

The reason why you have the point difference is that agressor gains more BB because they're seen as altering the balance of power in an unjustifiable action. The defender gains half the BB because it's seen as them obtaining some form of compensation for their suffering, of course if you gain to much you'd be changing the balance of power hence why you still gain BB.

That should clear it up

Is there any way to see another country's BB points, or to declare a BB war upon other powers who are getting uppity?

EDIT: How about, down with ships that have unlimited range? If you don't give sailors leave on occasion, how are they supposed to increase the population growth rate of coastal provinces?

Dear god you caught me in a trap. Ok, EU2 was a great game except for the AI suffering no attrition on ships.

In fact, it was Caligula who wanted to make his horse a senator. Not so much out of insanity as to insult the Senate.

And I would prefer that the computer suffer from the same attrition as myself. At the same time, ship attrition should resemble reality.

I'm not insulting EUII. I loved EUII. When I first played it, I was so enthralled I sat and played my first game for 3 days straight (summer holidays ), but Vic is better is every way and nowadays I don't touch EUII.
