Infinite load

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Screen stays black after Paradox emblem, I cannot load save games (infinite loading), I didn't have any issues like this when i first downloaded & played 2 days ago.

drivers are up to date, re-installed multiple times, Paradox account yet to even be linked.

Steps to reproduce the issue
The only explanation I have is that I've tinkered with the versionmanifest.xlsx but had left it ultimately unchanged

If you are running thru STEAM go to STEAM and Verify your Files with them. This will Overwrite your modifications. , but may help with your issue.

There is suppose to be a LOGO of the Grey Death Legion that appears for a moment after the UNITY logo shows. Which shows after the Paradox logo. SO something is stopping your program in mid LOGO display series.

Check for new Vid DRVs. as well as what was stated above. And if your running Windows 10 Home version I am afraid they are responsible for a lot of game crashing. Colose all background programs that CORTANA turns on frequently : Microsoft Store , Microsoft Pay , Photos , Settings , Settings Syncronization process , and the ever present Runtime Broker. [it is even in the other afore-mentioned processes when they are expanded.]

No matter what you put your Update settings at WIN 10 will reset them to what they want. Constant monitoring of your system and habits.

The files NOW pass the integrity check ( your advice on that one was correct). I get the Legion skull now, and the music plays after it fades, but the endless black screen persists.

Nvidia drivers were/are up to date. I am on win 10..... good chance Cortana is being a @#$%.

Any more details on dealing with the malignant AI are welcome.
