The ISPs I have available in my corner of the USA are both unreliable and expensive. The service I got when I lived in Asia a decade ago was higher bandwidth, lower latency, much cheaper, 99.999% reliable, and the customer service was always prompt, pleasant, and helpful.

Any idea how big this game will be?
I'm still debating if i should preorder from GOG or Steam
I mean preloading is nice if game is 60GB but for 6GB game downloading is not that long.

System Requirements is listed as 30GB but the download may be somewhat larger or smaller than that. It is large enough and my local ISP is slow enough that I will have a significant delay without access to a pre-load. I got my copy through GOG so I will be waiting impatiently while others are playing.

I will personally first try this game with normal HD, then later (if there is some problems with loading times or so) install it for SSD. But I personally think that normal HD is good enough. This far only Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Total War: Warhammer I & II have been games I had to install in SSD (first one because of ridicilous long loading times and game crashes, all fixed after installing it in SSD and Total War games because of long turn base while multiple AI factions think they moves)

It's been reported the download size (not disk/install size) is around 8.5 GB - I haven't confirmed this, it's from someone who received a games media review copy.

Sidestrafe reported that he got an update to his copy of well over a gig last night. The final file size of the release copy may be a bit larger than the review copy.

Any news on when 3rd party key sellers - like Greenman Gaming, etc. - might be getting their keys? The cheapskates amongst us would still like to get in on the preload action.

3rd party key sellers usually sell Steam keys so might be eligible for a preload if you activate them in Steam right away. No guarantees though. Steam preload is supposed to start Monday.

Authorized 3rd party key sellers should get keys prior to launch. Unauthorized sellers might not get them until after launch.

It depends on whether they have an official agreement with HBS directly or not. Typically most 3rd party sellers do not have such agreements.

As far as I know the only official distribution channels are Steam, ParadoxPlaza, GOG, and Humble. Thus 3rd party sellers would probably acquire them in bulk through one of them - often in a geographical market area with a reduced price.

SSD will always make loading times faster simply because of their nature. its the same as how a GTX 1080Ti will always yield better results than a GTX 1060.

Imagine youre shooting a target with a pistol, or rocket launcher. Both get the job done, the rocket launcher does it better :]

Rocket launchers give collateral damage - don't want to bring the building down on top of yourself. And the 1080Ti has 100 watts higher reported peak than the 1060 (typically also indicating a higher heat load, though the card usually already has better cooling to accommodate).

Disregarding price, though, I don't know of any reason to prefer HDD to SSD :) .
