I dont have them still but I do recall something about getting a key so I assume its going on steam, but will I have to live with the unusable beta entry on the library list or will it go away?
The beta entry should go away. If it doesn't, I think there is an option to delete it from your Steam account. I think I've done that with a couple demos.
The game keys will be published through Backerkit (assuming you ordered through Kickstarter). Which service the key will be for depends on which one you selected when you backed. Mine is going to be for GoG, I expect most will be for Steam.
We should be getting details about when the keys will be released and if there will be a chance to pre-load anything soon.
