SPACE NAVIES AND SPACE BATTLES

The BattleTech universe contains a wide range of options for the gaming enthusiast. Options such as ground battles containing mechs, tanks, vehicles; history and lore containing characters, factions, and nations. BattleTech even had space navies and space battles. However, even though space navies and space battles have been featured in the novels, history, and lore, it has been a small part of the gaming experience with only these two products that I recall for actual gaming; Aerotech (#1) (http://www.sarna.net/wiki/AeroTech) and Aerotech 2 (http://www.sarna.net/wiki/AeroTech_2.

There is an opportunity to expand the gaming experience for the video game enthusiasts. It turns out that Paradox has a game that can be adjusted to simulate other sci-fi shows or franchises, "Stellaris." There are already mods for this game for Star Wars and Star Trek.

That game, Stellaris, can be "modified" (mod) to look like the space navies and space battles of BattleTech: AeroTech. Please keep in mind, that often mods for other games are created by fans and given as free upgrades/downloads in order to go around legal issues. Whatever route is chosen it needs to be legit. We, the gaming enthusiasts, do not want another legal headache to stop the gaming.

I STRONGLY SUGGEST that Hare Brained Schemes look to see if it would be (legally) feasible to create a "Mod" for Stellaris that can be "modified" to look like and play like BattleTech Space Battles!

Here is an example of the Stellaris "Star Wars Mod":

The XP Gamers - Stellaris Season 2 - #7 - A New Warship

(FAST FORWARD TO 18:20 INTO THE VIDEO. That video game host puts in a lot of narration and thorough explanations, and even starts his YouTube videos as if they were a news report).

(After you finish checking out those ship designs fast forward again to see another ship design; go to 36:30).

(Want to see an example of a space battle? Go to 46:22 of the video).

Thank you, I look forward to your reply/input.
