One line summary of your issue
Slow: Screen Changes, Selections, etc.

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Battletech has a problem in that it slows down to a crawl when switching screens, loading games, etc. This happens when you start to collect a lot of items in storage (mechs, mech parts, and components), fill up your mechwarrior roster, and having a lot of saved games.

As mentioned in the past, deleting save games help, and selling off some items help, but it doesn't solve this issue.

The problem keeps getting worse and worse as you collect more items, mechs, mechwarriors, and saved games. Worse, we can't turn off automatic saved games, so we have to manually delete them either in the client or run our own script on the side to move/delete them from the steam user folder.

This affects:
- Refitting Mechs
- Scrapping Mechs
- Sending Mechs to Storage
- Clicking between Buy and Sell at Shops
- Using component filters, turning them on or off
- Training Mechwarriors
- Cycling through each phase of post-combat summary/salvage
- Clicking on your ship's different areas (mechlab, contracts, etc.)
- and more

I searched for "slow" in Bug Reports, and only three appeared. None of them address the slowdown when you collect items, mechwarriors, mechs, and saved games.

Also note that I tested this by selling off items, and my game would generally speed up. Deleting all saves and starting brand new brings the game back to a reasonable state too.

Steps to reproduce the issue
1.) Collect a few pages worth of saved games.

2.) Collect many different components, including regular, +, ++, and +++ of each type.

3.) Collect at least one mech of each model, and then collect salvage parts of each model.

4.) Get a full roster of 24 mechwarriors.

5.) Everything will slow down.
