Pink Ghost Mechs

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
So this has happened several times yesterday and today already. All of a sudden when a mission starts all Mechs are rendered as pink ghosts. Behaviour is normal and all but it's kind of bizarre to lead a lance of bubble gum ghosts into battle.

Steps to reproduce the issue
Happens randomly when a mission starts. Only "reproducible" fact so far for me was that it always was a winter map.

Has happened to me on a temperate map and a badlands map as well. usually when the GPU is screaming hot.

Just happened again. This time a nice deep purple. GPU wasn't even so hot.

I've had this happen as well, but it's not every 'Mech.

I had this happen one of my first tutorial games, but was fixed after I reduced video quality in settings.
