One line summary of your issue
Multiple issues with single-player battles
Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
1. In one map, with a large cliff to the left with a road going up it (which was beyond my field of movement due to the yellow line), the enemy mechs sat at the bottom of the cliff and would not move. Fortunately, I had a couple Tactics people and LRMs.
2. A map where I'm supposed to defend a town from pirates and escort engineers to the town. I start on the left of the town, on rubble (a desert world), and the engineers start on the right. On their first move, the engineers move hardly any, but at least they move towards the town. On the second, one engineer is gone (because the enemy DID move and killed one). The other drives straight towards the enemy (away from the town). If they survive that, they drive up the cliff, then back towards the town.
3. Occasionally, when telling my current mech to melee-attack a target, it will instead move in the opposite direction some distance.
4. Are reinforcements always supposed to be on the map, or are they supposed to spawn in later? Right now, unless the enemy comes in via drop-ship, most "reinforcements" are already on the map, making the fights 4 vs. 8 or more. This makes the ammunition-saving mission nearly impossible, as I'm facing 8 mechs, 4 turrets, and having to stop trucks that are carrying ammo...all right out of the gate. I could take out the mechs and turrets with careful positioning, but that means the trucks get away. I could take out the trucks, but any mech that gets line of sight to the trucks is soon destroyed by the mechs and turrets.
Steps to reproduce the issue
On 1: The world is a grassy world with grey, rocky cliffs and a road winding south, then east, then north up a cliff on the west side of the map.
On 2: Play the scenario and watch the two engineers. It's a desert world, your team starts on rubble on the west side of the town, the engineers start on a road on the east side of the town. There is a lake north of the engineers, and a larger lake or river south of the town. The reinforcements for the pirates are from a dropship north of the lake.
On 3: Try and melee targets with your mech. Maybe one in 20 or so will run someplace else.
On 4: Pretty much any map that has reinforcements. As soon as you take out the initial group, it says "Reinforcements detected!", but they're usually already there and occasionally already dead.
