One line summary of your issue
Mechs heavy damage in AAR

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Several times now my mechs have returned from combat where they didn't sustain a lot of damage only to be completely striped of armor on the after action report.

Steps to reproduce the issue
Be in the landing zone of a drop ship. Solution, remove the hit box from the drop ship OR put a big location zone on the map so that players know where the thing is landing.

Are you saying the dropship landed on your mech?
If so, then the area is (usually) clearly marked; the movement dots in the landing area have a red outline and a tool tip appears on the left hand side of the screen just like other special terrain, to let you know it's a bad idea to stop there.
However, in some instance where the landing zone is in another type of special terrain (water, marsh, ice etc) then the colour and tool tip for that terrain overrides the dropship warning signs.

The damage display on mech 1 and 3 very much look like structural damage caused by overheating.

Armor is taken off in that window so that you can actually see the internal damage while there still is armor on the location.

The picture clearly shows that there is ONLY 3 armor left on the mech as in the armor was striped off.

@TaurianMerc while some zones have an extraction marked however this AAR is from Linhauiguan after i loaded a save if that makes a difference. I cleared all enemy and had minimal damage however the picture shows no armor on my centurion. I also know for a fact that the landing zone on the research facility on i believe Bellerophon does NOT show where the drop ship is going to land and when i killed the final mech the drop ship landed on my mech.

Here is a photo from tonight where its stripped my mech AGAIN, this is starting to get very annoying. This is from the mission Repossession. The panther also shouldn't have any rear armor damage.

I'm sorry but we seem to be talking about different things.
Which mech only got 3 armor left?

As for the Centurion and the Vindicator in the first picture and the Centurion in the second picture they seem to display structural damage from overheating...to show that the armor is removed in that AAR.

You seem to not understand that the armor isn't just being removed to show internal damage its removing all the armor and i'm having to repair all of it. The middle mission picture did not have an overheating mech at the end. And even if the mech is over heating when the mission complete is SHOULDN'T strip ALL the armor and force you to repair it. The logical thing to do is shut down or dissipate the heat and not damage the mech. Is the coding that crappy?

You do not have to repair the armor...armor repairs are done for free and instantly.
The only thing that you have to repair is structural damage (and destroyed equipment).

HBS decided to go with structural damage as drawback of overheating unlike in TT where overheating made your mech slower and gave you an aiming penatly.
For me that is a design decision and not crappy coding. When overheating too much, you do shut down, just like in TT.
