One line summary of your issue
Mech Headlight Graphic Issue

What platform are you running the game on?

Steam

What operating system do you use?
macOS 10.14.1
What version are you running?
1.3 Flashpoint

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Mech Headlights show as black mask instead of lighting effect. This is at 1440 x 900 medium, although adjusting grpahics settings didn't help. Neither did restarting the game and starting a new career, or moving on to a second mission.

Steps to reproduce the issue
Start game, start new career, enter any mission (may require night time I don't know all three missions so far are night).

You're running on an intel graphics chip, and none of them are supported. Sorry.

While this is true I have played over 170 hours so far using this exact system so something has changed with the new update that has stopped it working.
It still seems worth reporting as it may be something relatively easily corrected and may affect other systems as well.
It's also worth noting that at 1440 x 900 on medium graphics settings the game itself runs perfectly acceptablely under macOS on this machine and Intel based laptops are an incredibly common occurence especially in the macOS space.
The game is still playable with the glitch and I am in fact continueing to do so as it's only the one graphical issue, I'd be hapy enough if I could just turn the head lights off. :D

Yes. Because the hardware is not supported.
Yes the hardware is not supported, but it's not faulty and it did work, it's certainly a software issue, whether it gets fixed is a different story and this is where whether it's supported is relevant.
For what it's worth I am handing my Mac back to work in week and will be on a Windows machine afterwards so personally it's not a big issue to me, I have also been playing the game even with the graphics glitch, simply because I enjoy the game so much.
However...
The game actually runs perfectly fine on my 13" macBook, a device that is very similar to literally millions of laptops out in the real world especially under macOS where pricing for discrete graphics on laptops is ludicrous! It would seem kind of silly not to at least look at the new code and see if the issue isn't something that can be easily rectified given we know categorically that it used to work and they know what was changed and every device the game works on is a potential customer.
But hey resources are limited and it's HBS's decision to make, I'm just providing feedback so if someone decides it's worth a look they have the information they need to do so.

I'm stuck away from my main computer but really wanted to play around with Urban Warfare on my MacBook Air. Encountered the same issue. But saw the headlight mod on Nexus pop up, and used it to effectively turn off all the headlights. Game doesn't look great, but it is playable and no longer affected by this issue, which will tide me over for a few months until I get back home.

Hope this helps someone.

Interestingly, I have moved to a WIndows device also with Intel onboard graphics, it did have this issue, but it has completely disappeared with the Urban Warfare 1.6.x updates.

This really helped me; the current state of the mod ("BetterHeadlights") is that, by default, it makes the problem worse by extending the range of the headlights and adding headlights to radar blips. However, after working with the modder a bit (who was extremely helpful), I realized that you can set the cone angle of the headlights to zero, effectively eliminating the headlights from everything (which may well have been what you did, but it wasn't obvious to me, so I am posting it explicitly here for other people it might not be obvious to).
P.S. @Donvale: Unfortunately, v1.6 did not fix the issue on Intel Iris Pro Macs; nor did 1.7 or 1.8. This mod does, though...

I have moved to the 2019 13" macBook Pro, all good on that version of the Intel Graphics :)
