One line summary of your issue
low spirits status does not expire

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
During one of the events on the ship (movie night) Behemoth received a high spirits status and Dekker a low spirits one. Behemoth's expired after a week, but Dekker's never did. The description says "low spirits / 0 days" and will not go away. The increased cost of morale abilities for Dekker works like a charm, though.

Steps to reproduce the issue
During the movie night event, pick an option which will result in Behemoth spoiling the movie for everyone and Dekker not liking it (I think they happen randomly).

I've got Rhea with low morale for months now. I think she got it through one of the random movie night deals and the icon for low morale persists.

I also have this issue. Have the devs addresssed it yet? It’s kind of a big deal, and I can’t even bring myself to play until this is fixed :(

I have 2 pilots with permanent high spirits and it’s making things too easy, regardless, I can’t stand having unfair advantages in games. Really sucks.

I have the same issue. Apparently the same can happen with debuffs as well.

I've been told by a friend it disappears if your pilot gets injured (not sure if this works before or after hitting "day 0"). There's your work-around if you are worried about it cheapening your experience. I hope they patch this bug later.

Thanks for that. I definitely wouldn’t mind taking a loss like that to side-step the bug, it’s just unfortunate that there’s not really a consistent or dependable way to self-induce injury.

I’m such a bad commander.

Also, does this bug happen randomly, or is it guaranteed to trigger with certain events? If the latter, maybe one could avoid the big through event choices. I’m not sure what all the outcomes are for some of them though, so maybe not.

My best recommendation is to either let the pilot in question get knocked over some how or let a single weak opponent chip away at the pilot's mech until they lose a side torso (angle the mech to get shot from the side). Or you could purposefully deploy them with no armor on one leg and do a DFA or two. That should do the trick. Kind of a pain in the ass, i know, but best i can think of.

Behemoth got low spirits from the movie night event for me and it has not gone away in hundreds of days.

Behemoth has taken a lot of injuries since this happened and it has not gone away.

I can verify that the glitch with Glitch that she does not lose high spirits after getting wounded.
Eventually a man can mod a game file?

Shouldn't need to because the fix should be fairly simple and retroactive. There's just bigger bugs to squish right now (like people not being able to play at all).

I managed to beat the game with low morale on one of my characters simply by refraining to use morale abilities with that character unless it was worth paying the extra morale for it.
