LOS - Formation/Shelter BUG
Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Hi guys,
i had yesterday a game which might be inflicted by a BUG.
I played ag WMvonBilhelm.
He used a Trebutchet with Apex.
I already attacked this mech with good efforts and he jumped with his other mechs one the adjacent field in front of the Trebuchet.
His last mech he jumped to the top of this „Formation“ so the Treb was - in this Formation - the last mech and scheltered to the both front side and front top by the jumped mechs of him.
The ridiculous part comes then when i moved - also via Jump - in (to the opposite front position to his „Formation“)
I HAD LOS to his Trebuchet (red eye ball) on him, BUT i could not attack him- with direct hit weapons. (Only the other three mechs which had off course full evasion, cos of their Jump - so an attack to them was useless)
The other three mechs possibly "block" my direct fire weapons on his Trebuchet ( i dnt try LRMs cos i didnt have them on my mech)
I also checked this at TT rules ....and there is NOT such a possibility.
You cannot SHELTER a mech with your other mechs.
And the total UNLOGIC thing is you see him and he sees you, but you cannot hit (with direct hit weapons).
Did you guys also experience such a Formation/SHELTER BUG on your Games ? (So the last mech could not be hit with direct fire weapons - i did not try it with LRMs cos i had none on my mech)
Steps to reproduce the issue
1.first Player (white) just let all the time his starting Formation on the game (without a move of his mechs)
2. second Player (red) moves one of his mechs to the opposite map part and opposite to his (start) "Formation"
3. i suggest to be away 4-5 hexes/dots of his top front mech
4. so you cannot hit/fire the last mech in that Formation, even if you see him and he sees you - red eye ball (with direct hit weapons - i did not try it with LRMs on indirect fire)
