Load game menu takes sh... ton of time to load ...

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Simply hit "Escape" and than load game. It takes loooong to get list of saved game from which you can choose.

This is just ridiculous. Not only this, but after I choose game, it takes slightly less longer to kick loading.

Same issue. It takes 2+ minutes to load the list of Saved Games. I mean 120seconds MINIMUM.
And if you back out of the Load Game window and go back in, it takes ANOTHER 2+ minutes.

What gives?

Yeah, saw this. This is just workaround. Im sorry, but loading list of files is something that can be done in ms, not s!!! Games in 90 did it way better and did not slow down other parts of it!

similar - did not tried deleting all of my old save ( I really don't want to) I have the same issue constantly

I didn't delete them. I simply made a new siubdirectory and moved them into that.
Like _dotdot_ said, this shouldn't even be a thing, though. I mean, how many other games require you to 'manage' your save games? None, since the mid-90s.
It seems like there's a 'backup check' that does not need to happen when simply entering the menus.
