BATTLETECH - Liberate Smithon Mission completes but then reappears as next mission

Liberate Smithon Mission completes but campaign does not progress and the mission reappears as next contract again

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I recently completed the liberate Smithon mission.
I completed both secondary objectives (3 and 6 crates survived) however I was only able to destroy one of two transports.
The mission complete screen appeared followed by the usual salvage screen. I then was taken to the mech bay to show me the new mechs completed.
At this point It was strange that I had not seen any cutscenes to move the story forward and sure enough, when going back to the contract screen, the same mission was available.
I had a load mid-mission and reloaded it however the exact thing happened.
Is this a known issue or bug? Is a solution known for this issue?

I also had this very frustrating bug, especially since most of my best mechs and pilots were being repaired / healed after the first battle for Smithon.

exactly the same here.
I can repeat that Mission over and over.
No Cutscenes are displayed after Mission is sucessfully finished
