Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
hit "Play" on Steam, battletech launcher comes up instead of the game, hit "Play" on the launcher, it doesn't launch but launcher pops right back up. Tried selecting other options, just does the same thing. Worked fine couple months back, so since updating yesterday. Tried the pinned clean uninstall, reinstalled, same thing. Turned off Virus and firewall and everything else (though never used to be a problem) and same loop. Really wanted to try Urban Warfare. :(

Steps to reproduce the issue
Followed the pinned clean install, reinstalled, and same issue. Launcher just goes to launcher. No output log generated, doesn't seem to even get that far. No crash logs, nothing, as doesn't get that far.

Attach DxDiag (PC), System Info log (Mac), or run sudo lshw -html > specs.html and uploaded specs.html (Linux)

I'll throw my reply here too in case this helps someone else:

Nope, No logs, directory was empty. Just spent a few hours disabling other programs one by one to see what in the last couple months since I ran it, had changed. Finally hit one - removed the Special K project, and voila, in launched. No clue why it conflicted, it never had a problem with anything else I ran on Steam, GOG, etc. Uninstalled it and seems ok? Currently couple hours in, and everything seems fine as just goes right in, and works now. Thanks for looking at it, sorry to waste your time.
