One line summary of your issue
Infinite Load Screen

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I've seen other similar issues, but I have not seen any clear directions on how to fix it.

The game will load the main menu just fine, but when I attempt to either load the campaign or skirmish menu, I just get stuck in an indefinite loading screen.

The game used to work for me until some time in June and then it just stopped working all together. I had not changed anything on my end to cause it to stop working.
To be fair, I was using mods and thought maybe they were the issue. But I have since deleted all mods and deleted the entire game and all hidden files; still won't work. As far as I can tell, I've done a complete scrubbing of the game off my hard drive (including campaign saves) and it has had absolutely no effect.

Same problem as these people:

What gives? Why do I get the feeling that this loading issue has nothing to do with me?

output_log.txt file included in attachment.

I am desperate here. I don't care if I have to wipe everything to fix it, but I need someone to tell me exactly HOW to fix it. This stings particularly for me because Battletech has been THE game I've been looking forward to since it was announced.

And now I can't play it despite my best efforts. :(

Steps to reproduce the issue
Load anything. Just won't complete any loading screen past the main menu.

You may also wish to post your system specs, and graphical options.

For me, the "Infinite Loading Circle of Death" happened because my graphical details were too high for my system; simply setting all graphics options to Low resolved the issue -- MacBook Pro, OSX 10.11.6 El Capitan.

I am 99% certain that is not the case. I run a gaming desktop with a 4 GHz i7, 16 GB RAM, and a GTX 960. The game ran fine before this recent issue. I also have all my drivers updated. I actually already attempted to run the game on minimal settings, but it didn't make one lick of difference.

But most importantly, I have it confirmed (based on log data) that my problem is the same as what most people have described: a HBS server-side corrupted VersionManifest.csv file.

I could literally format my entire computer and reinstall all drivers, everything, and it still wouldn't fix the problem because the issue is apparently my HBS profile data that is "server side".

Seriously, who thought keeping such player data was a good idea?
