I can't play versus another player, I ve got this message
"Error Comstar Connection has been rejected : game version mismatch. Expected Version :1.0.4
Server Version : 1.0.2
Please how can I solve this ?

Did you purchase/redeem via Humble by any chance? It was just updated to 1.0.4 recently (the current live version). If you update you'll be able to play with everyone else on 1.0.4.

You should be on 1.0.4 regardless of being on Mac or not. What version are you on?

How do I find out. But I’m sure it’s not 1.0.4 because I’m getting the error that’s in this thread about expected server version. I downloaded my kickstarter version from Humble bundle the day it was available so I’m not sure if I have 1.0.4 or not. I tried to download whatever was on Humble bundle yesterday and every time I try to install it says the download is corrupted. I tried 3 times with new downloads and the same thing. About to give up.

I try to play vs a unknown player and it works !
Does the pb come from me or from my friend ?

How can I see the version of my download ?

If you are searching for the version of the game, you can find it on the main screen right after the video when you have the choice between Campaign or Skirmish. Look at lower left corner just next to the Credits button.

With Humble you need to manually download it. In fact I believe you have to manually download the entire game again, they don't release patches as such.

Contact them if you need more detail.

I've tried several times both with torrent and direct download. I get the same error about the file being corrupt and can't install. I have a ticket with Humble but not sure how they can help other than getting a new file for me to download.

I do sympathise with you! It's a mystery to me why they do this, it invites such problems.

I think you already know this issue and are working on... what is the current stand to get a game online?
just bought the game; I want to play online so urgently!

whatever I join/ create: Comstar connection has been rejected, Server failed to respond in time
Can I go around this in any way?
my version is 1.04.280D;
But I had a mate join the first time I hosted a game, but I had to cancel it as I didnt know how to bring my 15 m clash lance into game, until I found the stock-mechs-only tick to be made. Sadly, there is also no global chat yet to find other players and or friends option. yet.

sorry; I ve seen the long list of crashed to be fixed...

but which kind of game am I able to join? at least its good to give this problem a time stamp for the next guy...
