One line summary of your issue
Hud disappears and game gets stuck after mission.
Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I played a story mission that was too hard so I reloaded my previous save and started another mission.
After I finish the mission and after the salvage/exp/etc screen I get back to the screen where I can see ARGO floating in space.
There is no hud. I'm unable to do anything. The ship just stays on the screen slowly drifting thru space. (game is not crashed, ship/space animation works etc.) I can access the ESC menu but nothing else.
I tried to save and it displayed the "game saved" message on the screen. I quit the game and reload the save. I made sure it's the right save by timestamps.
After I load the save I made on the bugged ARGO screen:
Now it shows me at the part where I'm before starting the story mission. When I go to the CMD center the game takes a quite long pause and then display numerous duplicate missions of the story mission I tried before (Served cold).
If I try to start the mission. The game gets stuck on maybe couple of minutes after hitting the "Deploy" button.
When the mission starts the fps is around 1-10 and the game is REALLY sluggish and slow.
I don't understand how this is possible. Like I said, after I found the story mission to be too hard I RELOADED a previous save before choosing the story mission and went to do another mission instead.
Why a save made after a successful random mission now shows me about to start the story mission I wanted to do later? Why does the HUD disappear and game got stuck on the ARGO screen? Why does the game grind to a 1 fps and the loading times go up by triple the duration they usually take?
Steps to reproduce the issue
Start "Served Cold".
Quit.
Reload previous save which has save state before starting "Served Cold".
Start completely different mission.
Finish mission.
Game bugs.
Save progress and quit.
Reload save.
