Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I've just bought the game in Steam and downloaded it. I've never started the game up until now and as soon as it attempts to start the game crashes and doesn't even appear to be trying to load.

I tried to launch the game this morning and it doesn't work. It gets stuck after the 3 ad screens with a number (usually 55-59) on the upper right of the screen. I tried removing .exe and verifying... no luck... full uninstall and reinstall... no luck. I played yesterday for many hours and have over 300 in the game... I have no system changes and am not opted in for the beta 1.1.2. Any help here would be appreciated.

I have sent the crash reports in with the launcher as well...

I tried the 1.1.2 beta as well.. same result

Your crash happens so early in the log there are no clues in there what is causing it. It loads fine to a point then just crashes.

Start by doing a Steam verify operation against the game, in case it did not install cleanly.

If no good, opt into the 1.1.2 beta and try that too

What antivirus app do you use? Add BattleTech.exe to its exceptions list/whitelist.

DXDIAG is a program you run from a command prompt or the Windows start menu 'run' dialog box (or 'search programs' in Windows 7 or later). After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

Please don't hijack someone else's thread, thanks - just start your own. Almost invariably the problems are different and it gets confusing for everyone to read. When you do that, please attach your output_log.txt file there, thanks.
