One line summary of your issue
Game won't start; crashes

What platform are you running the game on?

Steam

What operating system do you use?
Windows 10
Which version of the game are you running?
Latest, I think- game won't start so I don't know.
What DLC do you have installed?

None

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I downloaded BATTLETECH, and when I hit "Play" it seems to try to load, but I don't see anything until I get a crash message. I've cleanly uninstalled and reinstalled the game, then verified the files, but it still crashes.

Steps to reproduce the issue
1. Press "Play" on Steam.

Attach DxDiag (PC), System Info log (Mac), or run sudo lshw -html > specs.html and uploaded specs.html (Linux)

Attach Output Log
Windows: BATTLETECH\BattleTech_Data\output_log.txt
Mac OS: Users >{name} > Library > Logs > Unity > Player.log
Linux: ~/.config/unity3d/Harebrained Schemes/BATTLETECH/Player.log

If the game crashed, please attach the crash file with the time stamp closest to the crash.
Windows: [Steam library folder]\steamapps\common\BATTLETECH\DumpBox
OSX: Macintosh HD > Users > [username] > Library > Application Support > Steam > steamapps > common > BattleTech > DumpBox
Linux: [Steam library folder]/steamapps/common/BATTLETECH/DumpBox

If a save game was loaded at the start of the game session, upload it. Please make sure to upload the save game with the timestamp closest to when you loaded it.
Windows:
Steam: [Steam installation folder]\userdata[SteamID]\637090\remote\C0\SGS1
GOG: 'C:\Users\USER_ID\AppData\Local\GOG.com\Galaxy\Applications\50593543263669699\Storage\Shared\Files\C#\SGS#'
Vanilla:'C:\Users\USER_ID\AppData\LocalLow\Harebrained Schemes\BattleTech\C#\SGS#'
OSX:
Steam: Macintosh HD > Users > [username] > Library > Application Support > Steam > userdata > [SteamID] > 637090 > remote > C#> SGS#
GOG: Macintosh HD > Users > [username] > Library > Application Support > GOG.com > Galaxy > Applications > 50593543263669699 > Storage > Shared > Files > C# > SGS#
Vanilla: Macintosh HD > Users > [username]> Library > Application Support > unity.Harebrained Schemes.BattleTech > C# > SGG#
Linux:
Steam: /home/.steam/steam/userdata/[steamID]/637090/remote/C#/SGS#
GOG: /home/[username]/.config/unity3d/Harebrained Schemes/BATTLETECH/remote/C#/SGS#/
Vanilla: /home/[username]/.config/unity3d/Harebrained Schemes/BATTLETECH/remote/C#/SGS#/

You're trying to run the game on the integrated Intel graphics, which has never been supported, and is causing the crash. The DxDiag says your AMD FirePro M5100 you have in your system is disabled. I can't guarantee it would work since it's a mobile workstation chip instead of a consumer level one, but supposedly that is comparable to a Radeon HD 8870M which, means it *should* be above minimum spec needed for the game. Try enabling FirePro M5100 (probably will need to update drivers too?), and making sure it is the primary chip chosen for use by BattleTech to run off of and see if that works.

Good luck.

Ah, ok. That would do it. Thanks for pointing that out!
That driver blue-screens my computer almost immediately whenever I enable it (don't know why, but without a doubt it does) so I've kept it off. So... yeah. Not much more can be done on your end, and I'll see if I can work on that, but thanks for the response.
