Which version of the game are you running?
1.6.1-542R

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I was playing an escort contract using the Raven and experiencing this other possibly unrelated bug: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/foru...tech-audio-hiccups-linked-to-rvn-ecm.1188340/

It began to annoy me, so first I pulled the "effect" audio slider to minimum to get rid of the noise. But shortly after doing so, the music stopped too, even though I had left the music slider at maximum.

I fiddled with the various audio sliders a bit and got music to return, but intermittantly. I eventually decided to go back to actually playing rather than messing with settings, and soon after the game crashed to desktop. I don't recall my most recent user action prior to the crash.
Have you tried verifying your files?
No

Steps to reproduce the issue
Unknown, first time this has happened to me.

Could not locate dump file, and hints on this bug submission form are for steam version. If someone could direct me to where the dump would exist on the GoG/linux version, that would be helpful. Searched ~/GOG Games/BATTLETECH/* and ~/.config/unity3d/Harebrained Schemes/BATTLETECH/* with no luck.

Included save file *should* be from earlier in the same mission, but I haven't restarted the game yet to double-check the save position, as I'm afraid doing so may overwrite or delete the dump file I have yet to locate.

Managed to complete the mission I was on when this bug was first encountered, by saving before each move. Now crashing on the following mission. Note that I do not have the Raven with me on this one.

My audio (currently still at the slider levels adjusted from when I was having the Raven problem) seems to be working differently, which is weird. I now have music and mechwarrior chatter, no sound effects (it's possible the sound effects are present but inaudible because slider is low, but it's not at zero and I'm still not hearing even the typically-loudest noises). And when Darius popped up on the radio to inform me I had completed an objective, his voice was silent (there was the radio static noise when the text pop-up appeared, but no voiceover).

This crash occurred during an enemy turn.

After the crash from post #3 in this thread, I re-launched the game and went to audio settings. Returned all audio sliders to 100% as they were before I had the problem with the Raven. Continued play for several hours with no crashes, and no audio problems (I have not attempted to use the Raven again).
