Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I last played Battletech in July, and tried continuing my campaign a few days ago when I keep encountering this bug: the game loads to the main menu screen just fine. However, when I try to load up a saved game (either by clicking "Continue" or "Load" and choosing a saved game file - I've tried a few) it starts running through the loading screens, then just...STOPS. The music continues running in the background, and eventually will bring up an "Oops" window telling me a crash file has been saved and to submit it (which I have done). Anyone else experiencing this specific problem? I'm worried my saved game state is all corrupted and I will have to start the campaign over...

Running the game through a Steam install on Windows 10 machine (ASUS ROG gaming laptop).

Steps to reproduce the issue
See above, but in short:
1. Boot to main menu
2. Select either "Continue" campaign or "Load" (happens with both)
3. The loading menu starts, but will eventually hang and entirely crash, closing out the program.

If the save is from a previous game version, that could be a version compatibility issue. Can you play a new campaign okay? Then save, exit, and reload that new save game okay?

Thanks for responding, AndrewT! In attempting your recommendation, the situation has actually gotten worse: my first time loading the game, it crashed on boot (which I later thought might be because Steam needed to update). After Steam updated, I successfully loaded up the game, got a new campaign going, and was trying to start the first mission when the game crashed again, just as it had been doing before. I've previously verified the files of my Steam install...so what is going on? Is this a bug with the newest version?

I think we'd know by now if 1.1.2 had a bug where no one could run it at all ... it was released a month ago after all.

DXDIAG is a program you run from a command prompt or the Windows start menu 'run' dialog box (or 'search programs' in Windows 7 or later). After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

Thanks again, AndrewT. It's been a huge problem this past week. I thought I had solved it yesterday by going in and using the Battletech Launcher to tweak some of the display settings, but today the same issues began happening again. I'm posting my output_log.txt file, hoping it helps!
