Game crashes to Desktop early on in mission.

What platform are you running the game on?
Steam

What operating system do you use?
Windows 10 V.21H1 OS Build: 19043.1237

Which version of the game are you running?
1.9.1-686R

What DLC do you have installed?
Flashpoint, Urban Warfare, Shadowhawk Pack, Heavy Metal

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I load my save game. The mission loads. I begin the fight. Around 3-5 minutes in I see the crash emblem load on my secondary screen and the game crashes back to desktop.

Have you tried verifying your files?
Yes

Steps to reproduce the issue
Reboot. Restart the game back into the mission. The same issue occurs.

Attach DxDiag (PC), System Info log (Mac), or run sudo lshw -html > specs.html and uploaded specs.html (Linux)

Sorry but having looked through those files I see nothing to try here! It frankly looks like a game bug to me.

Is this just affecting one particular campaign/career? Or you get this in multiple ones?

Campaign. I tried adding the event log but it wouldn't allow me. It was giving a Unityplau\yer.dll error with this.
Hopefully this may have something??

Not really, sorry, the whole game runs via that DLL.
 
I figured it out. I completely forgot about the resolution for the Unity Player issue. I had to disable the XMP profile. It works just fine now. It has to do with the speed of the ram. I don't remember the parameters, but it would crash if your ram was running at 3000+. The age of the engine vs the age of hardware. Disabling XMP dropped my ram to 2133 and it runs on that speed just fine.
