Ditto, just played last night. The only thing I did different on logout was a 'save and quit' as opposed to a normal manual save then quit to desktop.

i had this the other day and simply rebooting my pc fixed this... hopefully there will be an officialy fix for this soon as crashing wasnt even mentioned in the 1.0.1 notes

yep just got that crash again after playing all day yesterday, reboot fixed it.

far as i can tell it wasnt to do with any windows update as i had updates as well the first time, just now no updates

Addn: As with others I noticed it also turned into my other steam games not working, so like others, I restarted my comp. It seems to be fine now.

yea also had that crashing bug where i had to reboot my PC.

click on play and the game crashed instantly

several times.

also several Crashes to Desktop

and massive Slowdowns in the Dropship screen after running the game a while (several hours) ,where you see the days "ticks " by on the pots rotation on the dropship at 30 FPS ...



also why do this game do not have an auto crash reporter ?

Im going to add to this again. I'm wondering if its something with this game. I'm not usually having any problems with steam or my games, but when this bug happens, I find that it not only applies to my Battletech game, but all my steam games, forcing me to restart my computer. The frequency at which I've had to restart my computer in the past week or so because of this event (not clear if its Btech causing a conflict that is spilling over into steam) is something I haven't experienced at all in years, and I pretty much leave my comp on 24/7 otherwise.

d3d11: failed to create device and context (8007000e).

GLContext: failed to create context: The specified procedure could not be found.

This appears to be a problem in the new April nVidia driver released recently. We are also seeing this in other Unity games such as Cities:Skylines.

A reboot will fix it temporarily, as you may have found. You could try a clean reinstall of nVidia:

- uninstall the driver
- reboot
- install the latest by fresh download from here:
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
- reboot again

If that does not help you might consider doing that clean driver reinstall again, except installing the previous driver version from March:
