Game crashes after tutorial

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Updated NVidia drivers (1050i on laptop) to latest.
Updated to 1.0.4 BattleTech
Game still crashes before loading first mission after the tutorial.

Steps to reproduce the issue
Load up BattleTech.
Start new campaign, load previous campaign, or continue current campaign.
Sit back and wait for the crash.
