game crash on campaign launch , can skirmish.

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I can skirmish all day long, But, the Campaign crashes , here what happens , the loading thumper in the upper left animates for about 30 seconds over a dark screen , word text appears at the bottom audio sound speaks the text , "oops" pop-up , game crash n asked me to report , so, just trying to help
I should add that im on a custom
win 7 pro 64 desktop ,
amd x4 @ 3.7
16gb ram
NVidia 690 gtx
150 gig ssd
2T ext hd
updated all my drivers , validated my game cash .
... pre-purched Digital Delux BattleTech thru Steam , launching and playing thru steam , could be a steam problem? I don't know .

Steps to reproduce the issue
None , 100% crash rate on my machine when launching campaign .
Note: I can play the scrimmage no problems.

in short :
start menu>CMD> " rundll32.exe ffdshow.ax,configure " > ( change direct show control multiple ffdshow instances to none-disabled .
