Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
As title states -- force closing the game while it is closing can corrupt the MDDB as it is writing the MDDB to disk. This is likely to happen for users as the game reports "Not Responding" in Windows Task Manager while the game hangs while dumping the DB out to disk.

Once a user has a corrupted MDDB, they will have to get another one from Steam, GOG, or a friend.

I've attached the most recent output_log.txt that has a failure, but I've gotten other failures before as well, including one that just reports that the MDDB is corrupted and could not be opened.

Steps to reproduce the issue
Open game.

Close game.

Force close game while game is closing.

Just to reiterate my concern -- I've seen now roughly ten people on Reddit that have had this happen to them, and I'm hoping that 1.4.1 has the fix that y'all were discussing last week.

Funny you should mention it, every time I have Steam validate my local files, 1 (sometimes 2) files fail to validate and are redownloaded. Every time. Not hyperbole. I have a variety of bugs, even my clean install didn't fix it.
