Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Also using Urban Warfare.

The crash to desktop seems to happen at the same spot for me, after a selecting salvage at the end of a mission, just before the argo shows it crashes.

Have tried different missions in this Ironman Save, all resulting in a crash at the point specified.

This is the only game i seem to have 'memory' issues with.
I say this due to the outpt_log:
"ERROR: SymGetSymFromAddr64, GetLastError: 'Attempt to access invalid address.' (Address: 00007FF6A611C385)

Steps to reproduce the issue
1. Load the save
2. Play any of the 1 - 1 1/2 skull missions
3. Select Salvage and click continue
4. Crash!

Attach DxDiag (PC), System Info log (Mac), or run sudo lshw -html > specs.html and uploaded specs.html (Linux)

Attach Output Log
Windows: BATTLETECH\BattleTech_Data\output_log.txt
Mac OS: Users >{name} > Library > Logs > Unity > Player.log
Linux: ~/.config/unity3d/Harebrained Schemes/BATTLETECH/Player.log


If the game crashed, please attach the crash file with the time stamp closest to the crash.

There is no visible cause to that crash in that log I'm afraid. The game runs along just fine then crashes out of the blue, no warnings or errors beforehand. IMO that is likely a bug in Unity or the game.

Please run BattleTechLauncher.exe and use the crash reporter in there to submit the crash data directly to the developers.

Sorry for that problem!

I have done the crash reporter in the BattleTech Launcher as requested.

My hunch is pointing towards a memory issue, loaded up the crash dump file in VS and says it didnt have permission to read the memory address.
Also the 'user address space' in the error.log, should it be saying "134217728 MB user address space"?
That says i have 128 TeraBytes, i don't even have that with all my RAM (Mobo and GPU) and Storage space combined. Not sure if thats part of the issue or not.

I have also updated drivers, revalidated files and tried other various work arounds from throughout this forum for 'similar' issues.

Hopefully this sheds some more light on the cause of the crash :)

After more testing, i have managed to successfully complete a contract from the save game after launching battletech.exe with admin privilages from the game dir.
The user on this pc is the only user and is an administrator but it may help solve something. Not sure if i just got lucky with it or if running as admin helped, either way this error is still an issue.

The contract was the same one that was crashing before (Cease & Desist)

Been busy through the week but got some time this weekend to do more testing. Saturday i was able to play for 2+ hours (6 contracts) without issues, however today i ran into the error again after the first contract.

The crash happened just after selecting salvage trying to load the argo, i have noticed that when it happens it is usually when a scene change is happening (mercenary - battle or vice versa)

Will attach my crash files and save file here before uploading them through the crash reporter tool.

In the save file, the contract i was attempting was the only 1 skull difficulty contract (forgot the name but it was an escort)

I have turned off; Anti-Aliasing, Motion Blur, Ambient Oclusion, and Reflection.

I have been able to play two sessions with no issues as of yet, will update you as i get more play time in. But it's looking good so far.

I get this issue intermitently as well, just had it now, the thrid time since 1.6 dropped which is probably a good 40 hours of play so it's not a major.
But the error.log looks pretty much as the other posted.
I am on a very low spec machine though.
But it's exactly the same each time, "Access Violation" after clicking on the salvage screen
It would be really nice if the game auto saved prior just prior to completing missions by the way! or even at the end of each turn.
