Crash on startup

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Purchased thru Paradox back-to-school sale, registered thru Steam.

Persistent startup error - blank Battletech.exe window and the beloved "Oops!" crash dialogue.

Updated drivers, reinstalled BT, restarted/shutdown. No luck.

This is probably the problem, as it gets in the way of other Unity games:

C:\Program Files (x86)\RivaTuner Statistics Server\RTSSHooks64.dll

So unload that.

Also add BattleTech.exe to the exceptions list/whitelist of your Avast AV app.
