Crash after 1 tutorial mission

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
After first tutorial mission I can watch cut scene. After that I get loading screen and at this point game crashes every time - black screen and error message.

Steps to reproduce the issue
Happens every time.
I've tried reinstaling, updating drivers, checking local files - nothing helps.

I'm having the same problem, posted my logs to the forum on Wednesday. Have the devs responded to any of these. It seems to be a pretty common problem.

I have this same issue. I was told that they were trying to address it in the next patch, and to opt into the beta for the patch when it is announced.

For those that have this issue with the GOG version:

Download the installer from the GOG website, do not use GOG Galaxy. Uninstall GOG Galaxy, install the game with the installer (use advanced install, uncheck the box to install GOG Galaxy with the game!). Play.

I've been crashing/infinite load after first mission since launch. Now no issues with GOG Galaxy uninstalled.

I had two similar crashes, both in he second part of the first mission, after tutorial, so no way to save progress.
I tried opting into the beta, with the same results.
The last crash actually killed my Firefox session in the background, and gave me this error window:
"Fatal error in gc
VirtualAlloc remapping failed"
I am using the most recent Nvidia drivers, beta made no difference.

I'm not interested in playing the tutorial a fourth time so I guess I'll go back to MWO for now.

Same for me game runs just fine all the way up to that loading of second mish, and bam stalls, freezes, crashes whole com... not really sure why either my rig can handle it nvidia gtx 1050 i7 with 16g should well be able to handle this game.

Solved the crash issue by activating the page file again - and crank it manually up to 4 GB.

Without swap file: crash on every load
System assigned 3 GB: crash every now and then
Manual 4 GB: no crash since then
