It wouldn’t be one of those early signs of the Apocalypse. For Mitch to confirm QUADs, it would have to be much later in the game than that! : )

Well the Pledge manager opened up and I have made all my selections ...... Now the real waiting begins
I chose all wave 1 shipping items so hopefully everything will arrive in 2020 ( I seriously do not believe the March deadline will be made for such a large project )

Whelp, finally done with filling it in my pledge. (Would have done it yesterday, but they had an issue with the ComStar level backing where you couldn't select extras.)
That was hard! I don't know what it says about my personal choice of mechs, but there wasn't a single set of mechs outside the ComStar ones that didn't contain at least one mech I already had! So it made selection quite difficult. (I really fancied a Daishi (yes, I am a dirty Inner Sphere surrat, thanks for asking!), but that had a Shadowcat and Thor (great mechs, mind, so great I already have them!), so in the end I contented myself with the Clan retalation pack (can't go wrong with another Mad Cat, it is one of my top favourites!) and the Heavy Battle Star (second crossbow...), so Executioner and Turkina will make up for no Daishi.
I also got the Inner Sphere retaliation pack, which aside from the Awesome and Thunderbolt, I had from the boxed set I started with (the Thunderbolt in that set was warped and usuable), but they are the common ones, plus I love me my Locusts (I have more Locusts than any other single mech).
And I cracked, and ordered both the ComStar lances on top of my initial pledge, since I don't have any of those. (I was feeling rich . That said, it works out to just barely over £4 a model (including shipping), which is too good an offer to pass up on!)
So that +32 will bring my total of mech to 172. (For the game I say is my "casual" game that I haven't managed to play in over a year!* Mind you, I've only manages single-digit number of wargames played this year even with my starship games and I have (until this order) *literally* ten times that number of starships to mechs...!
Be a long wait, but I am, ultimately, interminably patient...!
Looking forward to seeing the wave 2 designs when they come!
In the meantime, there's HBS BT, which I ALSO haven't played in a year, as I was waiting for all three expansions to be out...! (Like I said, patient...)
*Probably no-one remembers, but I started a thread called "Bleakbane Ruins BattleTech," like, last August in which I was blending BT to Maneouvre Group that I was intending to add more to, it's just I think we only played like one small game after that and then my mate was struggling to make it to play for the past, well, year plus really. And to add to it, attendance at our wargame club's venue is so down on the Thursday, we're likely going to have to cancel it, which things more difficult... But I WILL get back to that at some point, always fear!
("Never fear" would assume that it was a desirable outcome...!)

My brother and I are going to split additional costs for this, to make it easier to "get what we want" as well as "stay within what we can afford". We're waiting on time to sit down and pore over it all.
So... I’ve not checked out the Pledge Manager yet. It took a lot of restraint to stick at my $50 Pledge to begin with, am I understanding it correctly that I can now buy additional Clan Packs till my heart’s content?

@Kereminde, I’d like to blame it on the Mad Dog but I had been tempted by the Clan Smoke Jaguar T-shirt and all that other sweet Faction Bling for quite some time now.
So it’s official, I spent more on this CGL Kickstarter than I did on the HBS’s BATTLETECH Kickstarter. And with no other HBS Kickstarter likely (because of being bought out by Paradox) that isn’t likely to change anytime soon...
...though if HBS were to run a BATTLETECH 2 Kickstarter, I’d love to support it

I’m just sad that HBS never got the chance to offer that sweet, sweet Clan Smoke Jaguar banner for sale. They had at least that one used at MECHCON two or three years back. Oh well. : (I still, even now, wish I had a chance to complete a set of banners from the HBS Kickstarter
It's very simple. Find some shadowrunners to go steal the prototype for yourself.

I can. I have nieces who will destroy that thing faster than a Blakist orbital strike.
I actually really wanted the urbie plushy. But it's $40! That's more than any mech pack, and more than the Beginner's Box. Most everything else seemed like a good deal (idk about the maps), but that? That's way overpriced, and we don't even know what it looks like.
This prompted me to recheck my own inventory, and I'm currently up to 266 BattleMechs (two full companies for eight factions, plus 74 miscellaneous)... and then I made sure to pledge enough to get every single mech in the Kickstarter, for a grand total of at least 380 mechs when this is done.
Oh God.
In my defense, my current collection took over ten years to build up little by little, and I haven't been collecting many Magic cards or diving into Steam sales the last few years, so the Kickstarter fit my long-term budget, but still...

I just hope I don't regret selecting all in one package.....if it gets pushed back into 2021....that's a loooooong wait....

Heh, like I say, BattleTech is my "casual" game. I have to have a spreadsheet to track my starships, because I have 1500 (plus over 2000 accompanying fighters...)
That, however, stretches back over more like twenty-five years, plus if you count some of the oldest bits that were eventually turned into starships via conversion, probably more like over thirty...
My current biggest single issue is that of storage, between starships and 144th ground forces (both of which are now part of my day job to produce...)
