BATTLETECH - Battletech will not launch, launcher restarts

Battletech will not launch, launcher restarts

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
When I launch Battletech through steam, the launcher appears. I can edit the options, but when I click play the steam display 'Battletech is launch' pops up, then the launcher appears again.

I cannot get into the game at all.The game window never pops up. I have done the following...

-Rebooted machine
-Uninstalled and reinstalled
-Verified game cache
-Updated NVIDIA Drivers

Steps to reproduce the issue
Any time the I click play on steam.

DXDIAG is a program you run from a command prompt or the Windows start menu 'run' dialog box (or 'search programs' in Windows 7 or later). After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

Output log attached. When I submitted the question the game never ran ok on my computer.

There's no problem evident in that log file at all.

You mention the launcher in your OP; are you saying that Steam runs BattleTechLauncher.exe instead of BattleTech.exe ?

What happens if you run BattleTech.exe directly from Windows Explorer (still with Steam running in the background)?
