avoid all damage with stealth.

Linux

Urban Warfare

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
when using the Raven in your lance, with the AI as it is and no counter ECMs on most missions, it's possible to reserve all your mechs actions till you're the very last units to act, then move/fire and get stealth again at the start of the next round.... potentially could be fixed by moving the stealth flag to the final phase or something similar, but I assure you if this isn't a 'bug' it makes the raven a battlemech that can allow 3 commandos defeat an entire lance of starleague heavy mechs without getting a single piece of damage.

Steps to reproduce the issue
Use raven in your lance, play any mission even missions way beyond what your mechs can handle, stay in stealth field and reserve until you see 'done' come up, once you do attack and use anything you want and make sure you end inside the stealth field, as you are the last units to act and become invisible again before any other mech gets you act you can become ghosts that never get hurt and can defeat any Ai mission (so far from what I've seen)

I guess, I'm just saying that it made career mode so easy that I can beat pretty much any mission without damage cause the Ai doesn't run intp the stealth field to counter it and most missions with mechs in it tend to have pilots that can't sensor lock, even vehicles don't seem to sensor lock in most missions, meaning you can still reserve all your units to act last so they stay invisible the whole round then act, then become invisible again. It's just a bit boring is all, takes away the challenge.

I've found that if you move the Raven before initiative 1, a lot of times he will get sensor locked.
This is true, but if you just don't move, they can't do anything. I made a bug report for this last week or so. The AI can't make a SLock move unless the player has moved a unit first and this could be fixed.

That alone would greatly change the power of ECM. I'd also add a line that let's SLock pilots move first from the AI's units in a Phase. So if the "last unit" in a all mediums Lance is the one with the pilot ability, it could jump queue like an Unsteady one and move first to establish Sensor Lock.

I mean, I do like the idea that a raven with a large laser at 35 tonne can take out 4 star league Atlas or Blackknights without giving you a repair bill, but I imagine they'd start shooting where the fire came from, or investigating, or something other than moving around the same place and adopting a defensive stance till you wipe out the whole lance xD

I imagine if the great houses knew I'd be able to take down their whole empire with my Raven, they'd of offered me a little more to take it off my hands...
