The dialogue reads like the employer's base is defended by turrets but none appear. The chunk is disabled in the file.

Play this contract, read starting dialogue, observe no allied turrets. Enable chunk and check if turrets appear.

Attach DxDiag (PC), System Info log (Mac), or run sudo lshw -html > specs.html and uploaded specs.html (Linux)
