btw, I've found another BSG forum game and it has some interesting rules we may want to consider adopting - especially these:

BSG forum rules said:
* At the bottom of every GM post, there will be a helpful Action Queue that announces what we are waiting for to continue the game. This will usually be the current player's move/action, but could also include such things as a decision from the President/Admiral.

* If you are at the top of the Action Queue, you have 24 hours to post/PM to complete it. Once the 24 hours pass, the top of the action queue will be auto-resolved, usually as a "do nothing" action.

# Skill checks will have 24 hour time limit. After 24 hours, the check will be resolved.

# There will be leniency with the 24 hour rule over weekends

If we can get gm again we might want to just do 5 people next game so we have more subs and fewer players and should be able to guarantee a smoother action. Maybe even try to match up each player with a sub so the game can run better and take some responsibility off the gm by having more 'active' people even though less characters???

Actually, if you want a faster game, 4-5 is better, that way, 1 main and 1 sub are always on call for each player. :D

The game is not as well balanced with 4 though, I think. 5 is probably the best number.
And I'm pretty sure we have 1 or 2 subs in the wings anyway. Having subs is not our problem, everyone taking ages to post their actions is ;-)

Those are all good ideas for the next GM. Who is still not going to be me, I'm sorry to say.

No worries. I think we can work something out.
I'll need to set up a good google docs spreadsheet for this, though .. might take a bit.

Still think you throwing in that 3rd card was a good idea as had that been a - 2, we'd just barely pass it; and I think it's lacking cards. 3 Randy + 3 me + 2 from Herbert + 2 DD ought to be 10 cards if my count is right. +2 cards from jopi, as he did play 2 in there - he had two treachery from the discard/draw in the previous crisis. So it aught to have been 12 cards.

Not sure what the destiny deck did there. I only see 6 treacheries so we're definitely missing 2 of them.

Edit: Never mind, handing over would be even worse than finishing what's left of the game. I'm just getting constantly frustrated by all the errors and hunting them down.

Question is what the hell the DD was. If one of the two had been replaced by a -4 or -5 card we'd have barely squeaked by this one; and even if we get +1 Treachery again from the Special Destiny; we can "use" those ;)

Question is what the hell the DD was. If one of the two had been replaced by a -4 or -5 card we'd have barely squeaked by this one; and even if we get +1 Treachery again from the Special Destiny; we can "use" those ;)

Well, you should be able to figure out the colors. The only color that I draw that fits the check is an optional leadership draw, and everyone else was humans playing two cards.

I'm thinking the deck didn't put any treachery in there though.
