So, let me refresh myself, can I do two actions while in the Press Room? Or am I limited to not moving and taking only one action? If only one action, I play my Quorum card Food Rationing (I presume this requires it to be an action yes?)

Two actions? No. Ellen does not have any such ability, nor does the President title. You can play the quorum card as an action in any location and I'm gonna hold you to that since you already named it.
The Press Room merely allows you to also take, if you so wish, as your one turn action, the action of drawing 2 Politics skill cards.

Oh, better idea then, move to President's Office, draw a new Quorum card, then play Food Rationing.

I'm going to go and repair a location on my next turn if no cylons pop up during the crisis. Does anyone have have a preference as to which to choose?
Pegasus is 50% damaged so it might be nice to repair one of those places but having the brig back in action might not be a bad thing either seeing how there is at least 1 unrevealed cylon and probably 2 of them in this game.
(Even if cylons pop up I might still ignore them if the amount isn't dire. We're pretty close to jump.)

Like you said, we're close to the jump, and assuming our Admiral didn't become a Cylon in the sleeper phase, (s)he will choose a card with 2+ distance (unless we are phenomenally unlucky, and we get two distance 1 cards), to start the New Caprica phase. I don't know if repairing is the thing to do know. Maybe it would be better to stock up some cards, if your hand limit allows it. Or, if you can, it would be nice if you or someone could XO me to get me out of the Sickbay, so I could receive a full draw.

Hmm... The fail would be interesting, but I don't think we can really afford to lose that 1 morale.
Not worth the morale, IMO. Especially since the current player is the President.

Did you read my action revision I posted? I'm moving to Prez Office and drawing a Quorum, then playing the Quorum card, I think I can do that considering the action that can be done by the Prez.
oAlso, I am taking the skill check. Can Artell tell me how many cards each player has? I think that at least is public info.

Right now I can't XO you. I'll wait to see what my draw does before I decide on that one.
As for stocking up on cards .. I don't have many cards left right now but the thing is, if we don't repair a single cylon reveal can destroy Pegasus. (One of the cylon loyalty cards damages 2 locations chosen out of 5 damage tokens, IMHO.)
We still need Pegasus in the New Caprica phase. When Galactica comes back we'll have a ton of cylon ships to deal with (2 basestars at least - not sure about the number of raiders and such involved..) and Pegasus has a few pretty important locations here.
If I XO you I don't think you can repair anything, can you?

I'd prefer we jump pretty soon after New Caprica rather than fight the Cylons. Besides, the Basestars won't be attacking the Civvies. But repairing locations never hurt anyone (except if you repair airlock - then people may get hurt
). I can't repair anything, as I don't draw Engineering.
