I've been home with a flu earlier this week - high temperatures and muscle ache. I'm only starting to get a bit better the last day or so.

I should be able to manage to check in on the forum once or twice per day to deal with updates but I've got a rather busy meeting going on at our house next week. I'm not sure if I will be terribly active right away.

Note to everyone, I'm going to be in the UK from August 11th to 21st, and we're probably in New Caprica phase by then so I'll see how feasible it is to update. I will have access to the internet but I will need to bring parts of the game with me and I don't want to lose anything.

No raptors left so you cannot scout snoop but if your cards are not useful to xo someone more able to act you could go to the science lab and draw an engineering card? Cain is there atm so you could chill out together

I like jacob's idea of moving to the science lab and drawing an Engineering card.

How many "you are a cylon" loyalty cards do we have in the deck?


Also, how do people feel about that last skill check? There were 3 bad cards in there. Jacob played one card into that hand. Some people did *not* play cards into it. Since Ciryandor / Ellen did not play a card into it the treachery card could not have come from a human - only jacob and the DD - but the two engineering cards are a different matter.

I haven't been keeping track of the destiny deck or people's hands but since the sleeper phase is over we will have to start scrutinizing these checks carefully. Morale is the straight path to damnation that the cylons would try to push. It makes sense for them to play cards into jacob's skill check. This makes me fairly certain that one of the people contributing into that hand was a cylon.
Some careful tracking back through the thread (skill checks, what cards people drew / played, etc) might reveal who it was.

So, speak up folks. Who has been tracking the decks? What do we think the DD had left in terms of cards?

I tried tracking but lost it at around turn 10 or so. Also, snoop has only two cards right? I can discard cards, but we'll probably hit crisis levels on food soon, and I can only help a little bit with my Quorum deck. If snoop has an SP he can play, I'll use a Quorum card and opt to lose the food instead; that way we lose less cards overall.

Going back over that skill check. The following people contributed cards:

Rysz/Starbuck (1 card, big help)
Jopi/Kat (2 cards, little help)
sbr/tyrol (1 card)
jacob (1 card)

Of those people only Rysz (me ;-) and sbr draw engineering. Rysz's engineering draw is 1 card, optional. And more importantly - I am not a cylon. ;-)

I will take this moment to point out that Rysz's "big help" claim was genuine. The 5 point declare emergency card must have been his. (He hasn't told me what he played into that check..)
If he was planning to sabotage that check he could have kept his mouth shut about how much point value he was playing in there. He would have if he was smart - the entire hand may have been small help cards or negatives leaving him the obvious cylon choice.

Unless Kat visited the research lab recently to get engineering in his hand (I don't think he did - can anyone confirm this?) he couldn't have played engineering into the hand.
That leaves sbr.
