At first, the war with Japan seemed like a hopeless cause, and sueing for peace seemed like an attractive option, but Japan wanted none of this. So, being at war, I mobilized the army.
First, I invaded in to Lanzhou, and than north into Zhangye, cutting off the three divisions in Anxi and Xining, as well as some torpedo bombers doing excersizes at an inland lake (?). This worked excellently, and the Japanese army there was destroyed, with the help of a Mongolian force.
While all this was happening, the Russians were tearing down the eastern coast of China like nobody's business. The Japanese couldn't stop them anywhere. They annexed Manchuko, rolled through Korea, and began moving south and west. They stopped at a North-South line running along the Huang-Ho and Huang-He rivers. This is now my border with Russia. I moved a couple division north from Wudu, and destroyed 10 cut off divisions in this pocket, while the Russians did nothing.
I also began a southward movement towards Hanoi, which I am hoping to capture within another month. The Japanese are cutoff from their supply bases, and apparently, all units still in China have no organization, thanks, I guess, to the Russians.
This screenshot has been altered to reflect the moves of my army, and other nations' armies, to the best of my knowledge.
