Funneee session. Thought the Venetian lure to get England to DoW and get preoccupied would yield better results, but waht the hell :).

Some (naval) nations should get their act together and gang England. Cant believe that you are letting him get away with First Place when you together can bring him down very heavily. For shame!

OE should peace out for that reason too, why occupy yourself with a war that gives no gains when you can beat the crap out of someone that could give you a CoT or such? :)

10K to whoever makes Austria suffer for their very hostile attitude towards Great Britain :p

Britain will drop the blockade against Prussia if they peace out the Turks.
If not, the blockade will continue until the collapse of the Prussian economy.

Everyone should note, however, that England have no demands themself in this conflict. The German offensive has been extreme lately, and it will end here. Britain defended Venice from being overunned by the Austrian warmachine, and we demand nothing for this, nothing!!

We all can see the desperation growing in the Archdukes word, the only one that prohibit him from expanding in small defenceless nations pledge to others to gang the defender!
And thus give him a free way to run his militaristic affairs without anyone stopping him.

Ganjaman can prolly sub next Tuesday, he want us to get back on Monday. As FRA or perhaps as Venice if Juv made a bad quit which it looks like.

I decided that a one hour delay was as much as my patience would allow me to bear. Feel free to flame me because I didn't want to wait any longer than this.

I consider that a weak excuse,
you decieded to quit after the second time KJ crashed at load up, despite that you very well know that we try to rehost quickly when this happens.
It's frusterating, yes. A reason to quit the game and not even notifing GM that you did?, hell no!! Despite that several messages were sent by ICQ, you choosed not to answer them. This caused us further delays as you never told us you would quit like this, we suspected it however.. Besides, you just left the game once before the crashing started, just dropped out without saying a word, but returned after a time, but first when i and several other players asked you to come back.

If you consider that ok, and by that dont give a shit about the other players in the game, then this is the last time i will ever play with you.

Because, players with lack of respect to others is one of the worst thing i know....

If you however had told us that you quit, then you would atleast respect that 9 other players dont need to waste time waiting for someone that perhaps will return, someone that perhaps lost connection or crashed, but simply left the game because you didnt feel like wasting more time in Vnet, like the other 9 players obviously did and the game finally started. But thanks to you we wasted even more time in Vnet....

It's very bad manner, and if you dont have a better excuse then that, then you wont need to bother signing up for those games i GM anymore.

I will be sure to say this when you are gangbanged next session. "The English offensive has been EXTREME lately and it will end here".
*Total gain for the German alliance: 5 provs
*Total gain for the English alone: around 8

As was previously stated, the whole purpose of the war was to create a situation that was judged unfair, permitting you with a cassus belli to join. My hope was then that you would for example invade with Wolfe in Hungary and get annihilated or just get holed up there while the navals took the advantage. Its just a shame that Portugal cant get his act together and cooperate with the others. :(

I subbed Venice, got dowed at start by Austria which after an initial offensive was content with just sitting and sending peace offers for Istria.
After a while it autopeaced white peace.

Interesting way to fight wars you guys have ;)

Neither Juv nor Fredrik is explicit regarding Juv's future in this specific campaign.

This must be sorted out immediately.

Juv, do you want to continue?

Fredrik, do you allow Juv to continue?

Is the opinion of the rest of the players of any interest in this matter (which I believe rests in the hands of the GM)?

Considering reason Juv mentioned for quitting;

I'm very sorry this happened Juv. I understand you and I wouldn't want you to ever wait again. Therefore I suggest you to quit now.

Also I would sugest GM to spare Juv of any further inconvinience in our game.

The last time I tried to enter the game there was no one there, as I wrote to Fredrik. Fredrik then asked me if If he should rehost for me or go without Venice I then answered over ICQ that it was ok if you continued without me.

After showing up on time every session in this, and most other, campaigns, never going afk during rehosts, being one of 4 (?) original players that hasn't quit yet, after asking the GM how long we were expected to have to wait to start the game before we should cancel and being answered "a few minutes" and still hanging in an hour before giving up in an empty lobby people, some with less than perfect records themselves and not even in the campaign, come dragging with threats and black lists in this miniscule community.

Good show!

Here we were 9-10 players trying twice to start again and again but unfortunately with KJ CTDing or giving up on the load process. At the second rehost we waited for you for some 5 minutes and then begun ICQing you and finally you appeared. Here we lost some 5-10 minutes of the whole hour we lost in total.

Now this 2nd rehost also failed and all, except you, joined the host after only a few minutes for a 3rd try. And this time it succeeded and we had a good session with only one CTD IIRC. We managed around 20 years.

You do not give the impression of being the type of person one would select if asked whom one wanted as company on a lonely island where one had to fight to survive.

I am not at all surprised by this. When I saw the original set up that Fredrik got I said to myself (for partly this reason): Daniel, this is no game for you. Too many quitters.

I have recently been thinking of putting together a 3rd list of mine (I already have a black list and a grey list :D ). It would be a list of reliable persons.

Note: the reliable ones are a subset of those persons not present on the grey and black list. Because not all persons that do not deserve to end up on a black or grey list are realiable. If you are realiable you are not merely avoiding extremely bad behaviour (which qualifies you for the first two lists), you are behaving really well.

When I have asked myself who might end up there it is not many names I could imagine. :(

BTW, reliable to me means something like
- being on time
- if you cannot play a session you actively try to get a sub yourself
- no bad quits

You can then play as a peaceful Jesus or a bloodthirsty Attila, it is entirely up to yourself. That is another question.
