It's a nice challenge: trying to defeat England with a land Spain
It took time before English troops managed to break the line. The French troops were finally pushed back deeper into canada and several colonies was captured by English troops. The French navy was also finally destroyed.FAL said:

I am close to aborting my vacation here in POR and go home to SWE and take over the rudder in my EU campaigns. In both this game and the Sunday game my subs proceed to embargo ENG without having made quite sure they would win an upcoming war.
No Allmighty, you should not desert him. But you should not have agreed to embargo ENG before you were quite certain you would win a war. Was bocaj playing POR?
Allmighty, it is very unwise to embargo another nation if you are e.g. a CRT level behind. Any option you get from me must be rationally analysed by you as good as you can and then you must what you think is best. But if I had ordered you to DOW ENG you would have no choice, that would be something entirely different.
And if for example I mention that I have heard that FRA will aid in a potantially dangerous situation it is very wise if you check that with FRA before you DOW. Especially if the player in FRA is a fox.

Anyhow, I hope you will play the next session as well, as we have agreed, and we will see what to do in that session. It depends on Damocles' response.
BTW how did hte war with ENG end and what did we lose in terms of ships, money and provinces?

The English did suspect this kind of policy from the French, they're not to be trused. The English king is neither happy with the French invasion of Italy.
In fact, we prefer this land to be Spanish.
The English king is willing to disregard from the hostility Spain showed by embargoing us, as Spain is obviously being crushed by the French.
This require a more neutral possition against England if it is to work in the first place.

That's all right because I will not continue a game where I wait for over an hour for a rehost that never comes or never even has the decency to tell me it is not coming. Like I said before, saying nothing is just rude, & I obviously have better things to do.

If no sub had been found, Sweden would have been AI so you should instead be thankfull, but then we would had rehosted for you when you got back.
All of that is fine, I said when I first ICQed you that I was sorry. As I said in my first post about this, however, it would have taken all of two minutes to write back to me that you had a sub, & had went on without me, instead of leaving me sitting in Vnet waiting an hour with no reply. As GM, you have every right to go on if I do not show up, but it is also your responsibility to tell people what you have done.
