Without knowing exactly what direction Bocaj will take, I can't comment too heavily on the scenario yet. I accept Poland as it is in 1520, Orthodox tech and all (provided the OE and Russia remain Orthodox as well and there are no recalibrations of starting tech levels), but I strongly oppose cutting it in half.

It's already the weak bastard stepchild of Russia in this game. Weakening it further just isn't acceptable.

For the sake of historicity, I'm open to other arrangements-i.e. strengthening Poland's home provinces, keeping it in Latin tech for the game, etc.-but simply severing it from Lithuania is over the top.

Otherwise, breaking from my usual approach, I take her as she is.

im not that content with my nation ,
NL was my third choice and rather an emergency solution than a real preference.
is there at least any way NL could be playable from the begininng and not in 1570/80s? it would make it more tasty for me, im not in mood for waiting 4 sessions till i can join game.

(sorry for choosing NL as a preference and now bitching around, looks like i didnt thought long enough about this)

I have never intended to make Poland unhistorically weak, in fact I have often made them too strong and thus they eat Russia. :wacko: They are quite a special case and I will try my utmost to make things as balanced as possible. At this stage also I do not believe I will make Poland orthodox tech from the start.

You must be in some very slow games if 50 years takes 4 sessions. With Fredrik host we should be there in 2 sessions.
